Paul Friedrich Trinkner was born in 1848 in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, to Johann Michael and Caroline Trinkner.
Paul is standing in the center of this photo, behind his parents and surrounded by his siblings. The Trinkner family migrated from Germany and settled in Cleveland. Johann and Caroline Trinkner opened Wein Wirthschaft (a German pub-like wine saloon). This photo of the Trinkner family was taken at Kinsman Street, Cleveland, in 1871.
Paul married Anna Maria (Mary) Kappes, whose family also immigrated from Germany. They had five children: Elsie (Elizabeth) Wilhelmenia, Paul, Emelia, Jewell and Ed.
Paul died on January 8, 1890 in Cleveland, Ohio, when he was 42 years old.
